As the central planning, advocacy and fundraising organization for the local Jewish community, our work helps people in Edmonton, in Israel, and in Jewish communities in need around the world. The Jewish Federation of Edmonton is committed to building a strong, vibrant and enduring Jewish community in Edmonton, across Alberta, in Israel and throughout the world by fostering the values, practices and traditions that sustain and enrich Judaism and the Jewish people. At the heart of our work is our goal to improve the lives of the most vulnerable members of our worldwide Jewish family. To that end, we provide funding for vital programs and services that help maintain an important social safety net. As the largest representative body of the mainstream Jewish Community in Edmonton we work with partner organizations on advocacy issues and to combat antisemitism.
