No, the JobLine is completely free for all Edmonton-area non-profits to use. Organizations can post as many and as often as they need!

The Jobline is available for use only by Canadian registered charitable or not-for-profit organizations based in the Metro Edmonton area.

For those, we recommend adding your opportunities to Volunteer Connector, which is a growing database of volunteer opportunities in Edmonton and throughout Alberta. Volunteer Connector is likewise completely free for non-profits to use to promote their opportunities.

No, the Jobline does not have a function to accept applications within the platform. Employers must provide instructions on how job hopefuls must submit their applications, including contact information. We recommend including a section on this at the end of your position description.

The Jobline currently covers the Metro Edmonton region (also commonly referred to as the Alberta Capital Region and the Edmonton Metropolitan Region). This includes Edmonton, Beaumont, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Sherwood Park. Each new job posting will require you to input the job’s location, which is currently limited to the above options.
